:sing: I don't know why I didn't post this sooner, maybe I was just too pre-occupied with Puff Pics and learning Spanish. Anyway, this picture is me with none other than Geoffery Wayne Tate - lead singer of the Seattle heavy Meattle band Queensryche. Having lived out there, I knew of these guys when they first started out. I was always mezmerized by Geoff's voice (people have compaired it to a jet engine taking off - yes it is THAT powerful :sing::explosion:). I wanted to sing like that so I took lessions. Hard - yes! Pay off - :shrug: Well I can hit high notes like Geoff and folk say I can sing. But :shakefist: Fucking Aspberger's had to fuck that up too, I just couldn't get with a band that shared my vision.

Anyway, meeting Mr. Tate and getting his autograph was like an Epiphany for me. I can only imagine what he thought of me - what with my looking like King Diamond's long lost love child.

How's this for a co-insidence: When my mom was expecting me - she was thinking of naming me "Geoff".

It was at a concert. He was playing a solo show w/ Tommy Lee from Motley Crue & his band headlining. A couple of local acts including Darren McCarty of the Detroit Red Wings played with his band "Grinder". Geoff and band played an unplugged set before their electric set and did a autograph session later. I had him autograph my Video:Mindcrime inlay card. I also got Tommy's autograph. Had him sign my limited ed. gatefold "Shout at the Devil" LP cover. He was all ... "Dude, this is sooo awesome! I remember this now." :horns:

In a nutshell, Aspburger's Syndrome is a form autism. Some folk call it "Highly Functional Autism" because we can manage to walk and chew gum at the same time. These other deviants are also Aspies :iconao968::icondj-mara::iconkamenriderace::icontimow::icongordafarid:
